The Sd.Kfz.4/1 Panzerwerfer 42 was a half-track Maultier vehicle fitted with a 10-tube multiple rocket launcher called the Nebelwerfer. The Nebelwerfer had been developed as an answer to the Russian Katyusha launcher, and it possessed the capability of firing explosive rockets or gas shells up to a maximum of 7km. The Sd.Kfz.4/1 was manufactured for roughly a year from Spring 1943, with around 300 vehicles produced to cause havoc among Allied troops on both the Western and Eastern fronts. The Tamiya model is collaboration with Italian model maker Italeri. The original model is a 1994 classic from the Italian manufacturer, and now not only comes in Tamiya packaging with 2 Tamiya figures and decals, but molding has also been updated from the original for greater accuracy and ease of assembly
