KV-II GIGANT 1/35

This is a 1/35 scale assembly kit model. It recreates the KV-II “Gigant”, the 152mm howitzer-equipped assault gun developed by the Soviet Union in response to difficulties in breaking reinforced bunkers during the Winter War (1939-1940). It was developed using the KV-I as a base. In effect, it took the place of an SPG, and had a distinctively tall turret to house the howitzer. Around 200 examples were built.
