A fly anywhere, four-channel, gyro equipped semi-scale version of the USAAF’s highly manoeuvrable all-metal fighter, with a performance that belies its size.

Having committed to expanding its iconic warbird series it was only a matter of time before Sonik’s designers turned their attention to the underrated Curtiss P-40 which, contrary to popular belief, performed surprisingly well as an air superiority fighter and made aces of over 200 Allied pilots and double aces of 20 more.

Sporting the same tried and tested powertrain as all the other models in the Sonik fighter series the P-40 flies every bit as well, not least because it features the now renowned Sonik, switchable, 6-axis gyro stabilisation system. Set to stability mode this feisty little warbird laughs in the face of turbulence and never ceases to impress. Offered at a pocket money price, ready to fly, with everything included in the box, the versatility of this model for both indoor (large sports hall) and outdoor (small field) flying is almost limitless. With a growing collection of famous warbirds to choose from, why not get a group of friends together and get flying one of the best looking, best performing little foamies you’ve ever experienced.
